I bought this to use on short trips with my 9 month old as it was getting too much of a faff to get the buggy out all the time.
I wasn't sure how he'd take to it as I haven't used a sling with him before but we both love it! So far, I've only used it in the Side Saddle position which is great as he can see loads, and is near my face so I can talk to him. It's a bit tricky to get him in and out (just because he is so big - 24lbs) but it's getting easier with practice.
For short trips (i.e. less than 10 mins) it's great and doesn't make my back ache at all. I don't feel like I need to have my arm round him though I usually do.
I only wish I'd got this sooner as I'm sure I would have got a lot of use out of it.

I love my Babasling and so does my little one. It's easy to adjust to left or right shoulder and really quick to get baby in and out. It was lovely as a hammock for a newborn - also for breastfeeding. There are loads of different carrying positions as baby grows but I've now bought a more traditional front carrier for longer walks as carrying a 6kg baby one shouldered was hurting my back. I still prefer the Babasling for short trips though as no other sling is as easy to get baby in and out - and invariably you have a heavy bag to balance out the other shoulder. Highly recommended - especially for newborns.

Great sling available in funky colours suitable from birth to toddler and very very adaptable - loads of different ways to use it. It was a god send with our newborn - a miracle at settling her when nothing else would! Worth every penny.

I have a bright pink baba sling and I love it. I have my ten month old daughter in it daily as she is going through a very clingy stage. Very easy to use and get used to carry the weight around shoulders easily. I sometimes use it to carry my daughter around town whilst pushing my 3 year old in his pushchair and have no problems. For this age, I prefer it to my baby Bjorn sling.

The Baba Sling is an adjustable pouch sling which is made of hard wearing cotton and has a comfy rail on both edges. I have used it almost every day since I bought it. It's incredibly easy to get baby in and out of, in a variety of lying or hugging positions. You can breastfeed relatively easliy using this sling, though if you want total modesty you'd need to use a separate cloth or shawl. My baby settled into the Baba Sling very quickly and now gets excited when I put it on. I've used it on buses and trains a lot. It folds very neatly into a little drawstring bag which you can store in the pocket on the front of the sling.
The Baba Sling is good for long walks and for jobs around the house. Lots of colours to choose from. Very versatile, very easy, very comfy, easy on your back compared to a Baby Bbjorn type sling.
