I got one of these when my baby was first born as she was premature and very little, she looked lost in a baby carrier which I had planned to get. I found it very comfortable while she was still little, but as she has grown I do find that it makes my back ache if I wear it for too long (by which I do mean several hours!). She obviously finds it very comfy though as it is her favourite place to nap in the day! I am able to get on with chores around the house and to sit with her in it, which is a big bonus compared to the baby carrier that we have now also invested in. I now mostly use it for around the house to keep my hands free and I find I can even cook wearing it! It does take a little practise to be able to use all the positions and my partner still hasn't got to grips with it, but then he hasn't really tried very hard as he prefers the baby carrier. All in all I think if I had to choose between the baba sling and the baby carrier we have I would go for the sling.

Can't fault this sling. I am a single mum of two lovely kiddies. The Babasling allows me to feed, comfort and hold my baby son while my 4 year old runs wild. I have two hands free and it's just easy. No bulky pushchairs or difficult straps. Once adjusted it to my size, I just stick it on stick him in and go. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

The Babasling has changed my life!. I absolutely love it, couldn't live without it. Around the house, I can actually do the housework and she is so happy to be held. We use it when out and about, so easy to put in the car, and away we go, even managed to get my husband to wear it a couple of times. Tried loads of other slings, but this is definitely the best!

my mum bought me a babasling, when ds was 4 months old. I already had a ring sling which i found useful but pulled on my back. I told her when it arrived that it would do the same thing. believe me it doesn't, eventhough my chap is a tiddler hes feels increadably light. the padding on the shoulder is more useful than it looks, and the padded railings puts your mind at ease that the sling is not digging into your lo's legs.

my ds is now 9months old he sees a physiotherapist regulary and they have said the position he is in whilst in the sling is benificial for his hips, muscles and ligaments.

he also must find it very comfortable as he regulary sleeps in it.

the only down side is that it is hard to adjust with the baby in the sling, so there is a lot of on and offing to begin with, but once its adjusted it doesn't need changing until your lo grows.

Baba Sling didn't work for us - not easy to adjust when wearing. Didn't feel comfortable as my back hurt during/after wearing and my 4wk old son didn't seem comfortable in it. Returned it back to shop and ordered Sleepy Wrap - as tried this at friend's and felt so much more comfortable and more natural for both of us.
