Kids' motivations don't change as much as you would think. Teenagers love their certificates, pictures, etc on the wall just as much as a toddler does. custardo

I use this to carry my toddler in, and we both love it so much. Its very compact, super comfortable, very flexible and even comes in super cool paterns.

Love it!! So comfy and as my baby was quite heavy I was relieved about that. Lokking forward to trying it on the back in a month or two when he's old enough

I actually have a Toddlerhawk (same as Babyhawk but for 18m+) which was bought for my extremely clingy son. My dh is 6' 4" and I am 5' 7" so the longer length of straps was great and it is so comfortable to wear. It spreads the child's weight nice and evenly and doesn't have the child's weight just hanging off the shoulders. I have neck problems so the Toddlerhawk was perfect for me.

It did take some time to perfect putting my son in the sling without help but once mastered, it was a fine.

I bought my 2nd hand babyhawk from a babywearing site it was around £30, it was my first mei tai sling. I love front position and once you have got the hang of getting your LO on your back it is quite comfy. I love the handy pocket and the fact the sling folds into the pocket.

I have tried a couple of mei tai's and the only negative I can point out is I prefer a wider strap but I think that is more personal preference than something lacking in the sling.

I recommend this sling to those who are planning to share with a partner as others have said babyhawks are reversable so you can have a girl/boy sides also there is no adjusting so anyone can wear it.

If you are a first timer I would make sure you get some instruction on how to wear this sling as it will make a difference in the comfort for the wearer.

after trying MANY slings of many different types for my unputdownable notgoingtosleepthankyouverymuch LO - this is my favourite. She is 20 months now and wearing her on my back in a babyhawk is a whole lot lighter and more comfortable than many a rucksack I lugged up and down mountains in my pre-baby life. Highly recommended.
