Used this every day when my daughter was very little, very secure facing inwards when she was a newborn and she liked looking out once she was big enough. She is now six months and I am finding her too heavy and sling not supportive enough as it digs into my shoulders so would recomend the newer models with lumber support. also with winter coat on there is not much room for her.
I found the straps easy to use and do up with her in the sling, but my husband couldnt get the hang of it as you cant really see what you are doing.

I find this sling very supportive and relatively simple to use. My daughter is now 3 months and about 13lbs so still not facing outwards in it, and I have used it from when she was born to help me walk the dogs. For walking in the countryside on uneaven surfaces I find it extremely stable and secure - there is no chance of her falling out at all unless I bend right over. She usually falls asleep after a while in it too. I don't find that it digs into my shoulders either.

Brilliant. Comfortable, easy to put on and did from birth to about 10 months when the little chap just got too heavy. It's not cheap, but worth every penny.

I loved using this. Hardly used the pram at all! My baby would fall asleep facing me straight away when he was tiny and then at about 3 months he loved to face outwards and see what was going on, whilst still being close to me. I used it round the supermarket, on walks, shopping... everywhere, until he was 8 months and just got too heavy! Once I'd worked it out I kept certain bits fastened so I could manage it easily by myself - straight from his car seat, and even on and off trains if I kept the straps on and so didn't need to put him down or give him to anyone. A brilliant buy.

This was too big when my baby was born - was only for eight pounds and over. I used it a few times until I needed an emergency osteopathic appointment for my lower back. I still take it out occasionally for short bus journeys as it's easy to put on and very secure when you need both hands - if I use it a few times in a week my back pain starts to flare up again. I would not recommend this for a newborn or to anyone who intends to go for long walks or use the sling all day.
