Easy to put on and to slip baby into. Nice comfortable padded straps and sturdy construction. Baby seems comfortable in it and falls asleep quickly. Downside is that head support is not great for young babies as the infolding of the top can rub on their face if you tighten it up, otherwise it is too loose. Have since seen the Kari-Me which looks trickier to use but seems to provide more support and versatility.

Loved it! It meant DS could cuddle and sleep while I took DD to the park, to friends etc and could actually interact with her. Having said that tried it with DD when she was a baby and she hated it. Try before you buy if you.

Really really easy to use - other slings have been a bit of a faff - and this just clips to you, you bung the baby in and you're off. Gives you a bit off backache to begin with, like other slings seem to - you have to walk with your shoulders back and back fairly straight - ie good posture! But it works for me, and at 8 months the baby is still OK to carry (feels a bit like a shoulder ride for an 18 month old). I use this not the buggy - it's just easier, and I haven't been able to say that of any of the other slings I have used. I would thoroughly recommend it.

This carrier was one of the best things I bought when my baby was born. I used it every day and cannot recommend it enough. It was worth every penny. When my baby was about 3 months old I did some testing for mother and baby magazine and tried 6 other carriers out for a week each and I would still say this is the best one. The more expensive baby bjorn carriers were not worth the extra money (bushbaby was my 2nd fav).

My baby was born at 10lb and I used it most days till he was about 17 or 18lb. It is especially handy not just for walking to the shops but also for doing the hoovering! It is also really easy to put on.

Wish we'd got the Active! Actually, my husband uses this a lot more than I do. He finds it pretty comfortable, but I have a weak back and nowadays (baby is 17 lb +) can't cope for more than about 25 minutes, because it really drags on my shoulders and hurts the centre of my back too. However, ds loves riding in it facing outwards and has developed a Pavlovian reaction to being shown the carrier! It's one for short walks around town or the supermarket, not treks. Easy-peasy to use and put the baby in, even when screaming!
