Complicated at first but once you get the hang of it, this is an extremely comfortable and versatile sling for both wearer and baby. The only downside is the complicated process of putting the sling on and folding it origami-like into the different holds.

my baby, despite being extremely clingy, refuses to be swaddled and hated this at first - as well as the baby bjorn we also tried. then one day at 5 weeks we tried it again and he loved it, fell asleep within 2 min - and has done ever since. given that he hates being in this pram and wants to be held and rocked all the time, this is a godsend - i have two arms again! it is really warm though with all the fabric, i have to strip us both down to very thin layers otherwise he gets heat rash. he still hates the baby bjorn...

This is one of the best baby things we ever bought.

I bought this for baby no.2 as the Tomy carrier we had for our first child was really difficult to get on and extremely uncomfortable.

It is now in use for baby no.3 (although does still get the occassional outing used to carry our 2 year old on our backs!!!)

Husband, babies and I all love it as it is so comfy and once you've practised a couple of times it's really easy to put on - although would say that I still haven't mastered it single handed when used as a back-pack for 2 year old.

Only slight issue with it is that you can't ever go out anywhere without someone stopping you to comment on how comfy the carrier looks!

i love my kari-me sling. after a couple of practice go's it is easy to put on and baby feels safe and snug. my dd falls straight to sleep every time i put her in it! the only drawback is in this heat it makes us both very hot so can only be used for short periods!

this is GREAT. DS spent most of his early life in this and was really comfortable uptill about 7-8 months when he got a bit heavy for it( found the fabic was not distributing the weight very well and got a sore back) but up untill this point was my favourite piece of baby kit. takes a bit of practice to get the knots right but once this is sorted you are up and running. the only thing i would say is that if your baby is not keen on being swaddled this may not be the one for you and it holds them close and is a similar feeling.
