I actually have a manduca, but it exactly the same as the ergo. It's great once baby is big enough (about 5 months in my one's case). really easy on the back. Love it!

A super carrier. Had used a baby bjorn with my first child, but the ergo suited from birth for the second. My daughter is about to have her third birthday, and weighs three stone...its still brilliant. I carried her for two hours on a walk the other day, and not a twinge from my back. Practice lots at the beginning and you'll never look back.

Fantastic carrier, best i've used. I brought this when my second child was just over 1, as i had a couple of different carriers with my first one that i never really got on with, i brought the baby bjorn carrier with the second which was better and she loved being close. She really missed it when she outgrew the baby bjorn and a friend told me about the ergo. Both my girls love it. It took a couple of goes to get it on by myself with my youngest in (aged 13 months at the time) the back position takes a bit more practice. Its light and comfy to wear, i even carried my rather large 3 1/2 year old home in it on my back the other day without any trouble (obviously i know she was there but i would not have made it to the end of the road carrying her without it) She loved it and i didn't have any back ache afterwards. My youngest is now 16 months and loves it. I'm deffinately going to get the newborn insert for my next one. It makes juggling a baby and toddler between a single buggy simple.

The ergo carrier is just fantastic, I purchased one recently and find it really easy and comfortable to use. I have 2 children, 1 of 14 months and the other is nearly 3 1/2 years. I carried the eldest nearly 2 miles in it the other day and i dont think i'd have made the end of the street without the carrier. My youngest loves it, i had the baby bjorn carrier from birth, and i would say that this is a natural progression from that. You can buy a newborn insert for the ergo although i'm not sure i'd feel comfortable with that. Personally i would have the baby bjorn from birth then the ergo when they grow out of it. The ergo is simple, easy and very comfortable to use. I suffer with back problems, since my second pregnancy, yet i have no trouble carrying either of mu children in it. At around £80 there not the cheapest on the market, but i would say well worth the money.

I love this sling! Bought it for my 5 and a half month old - a heavy baby at over 8kg at that time. I'd been using the Wilkinet but found he just slipped down the whole time and got annoyed he couldn't see out. Ergo sling is incredibly comfortable for me to wear, I can walk for ages without getting backache. He seems comfy too - it's not front facing but he seems quite happy to look out to the side. And I love the head cover for when he's asleep.
