It's great because you have three different carrying positions which are suitable for your child at different ages. Although the straps can be a bit fiddly and the back carrying position is tricky until they get older, I have found it the most comfortable way to carry my two stone one year old!

Easy to put on , dads love it and babies are so comfortable they sleep in it. But can also see the world from mum or dads view and this is where parents can communicate with them. Can be worn front or back.

Not so good for younger babies. While the manufacturers advise against using under around five months I'd say more like seven months. The leg positioning was very uncomfotable for my daughter in the front positions and she just disappeared in the back position.
It is great for carrying my 2 year old son though, which means I can juggle them both between the pushchair and ergo.
It's quite a natural progression from the Baby Bjorn. I would also say don't get put off by complexity of back carry-it's not that bad really (and I find ring slings too complex).

A sling that can also be used (with an infant insert) as a backpack carrier, this won plaudits for comfort and versatility. It "can take a while to get it adjusted properly" and it can be "a bit daunting to put on at the start" but the weight is well balanced so ultimately it's "very comfortable to wear, even over long periods". It's comfortable for children too: "They sit in a really good position and don't hang as with a lot of carriers" and "the head support makes it perfect for sleeping toddlers". "Definitely worth it".
