Absolutely brilliant used as as a side sling for older baby sitting on your hip - my one year old has been very happy in this for a couple of months and it's very comfy to wear as all the weight is on your hips. It's also easy to get baby in by yourself in the hip position, and feels very natural, and is extremely portable and folds up small enough to get in a roomy changing bag or weekend/travel bag.

marvellous before about 4 months and from about 7 months. There IS a tricky gap where they are too big to go in the newborn insert but too small to go in the sling proper. To be fair, this is true of most slings that go over both shoulders. So you end up using a pushchair, which is exactly what you sought to avoid in the first place.
But its great, dd still uses hers at 2.
oh there are old and new style versions of this, the old style is cheap on ebay and its FINE really, you can't use the side carry position but thats a complete faff anyway.

I found this to be a great follow on from the baby bjorn. It's very comfortable and works well for older children as you can put them in the 'piggyback' position but with the sling to support you and them. Good when you have 2 kids!

DD loves being in the sling, so we have had a lot of use out of it. Far more use than the rather more expensve Phil and Ted's we bought...
Comfy for both adult and child. My lanky four yyear old likes being carried in it too!

Both DD2 and I are in love with this carrier, we use it round the house and out and about, she's almost always happy, I am comfortable and finally she isn't screaming at me. You do need to practice getting baby in and out over the bed (!) but once you have the knack it's really easy - and always gets a few glances if you do it in public!
