soooo comfortable the wide cloth 'straps' across your back really do distribute the weight so well. not one for quickly taking on and off so it's more for longer carrying periods (although saying that, i did once manage at a train station with about 2 mins to go before my train and without the cloth trailing on the ground) you can easily pop your baby in and out. imo looks like some kind of cloth bondage outfit sans baby though! but i love this sling. mainly due to the comfort but also because it's washable, my baby finds it very comfortable facing inwards or out or when very small in the cradle hold. it easily fits me (i'm fairly small) or my baby's dad who's 6'3. in the black colour and zipped up under his coat i managed to convince him to try it. the pocket's useful too.

I so looked forward to using this but actually found it a little bit of a disappointment. I am only small so find all the material quite hard to handle but that isnt my main problem with it. I find that being small with a large bust then having dd in front means that I cant lean in to any of the shelves and I cetainly cant bend down or over to pick up anything more than a pack tissues when shopping. I kept bumping dd off shelves not realising just how much she stuck out in it. It is also very very hot for both dd and me although she really loves it for a while. It is comfortable as long as you are careful in putting it on well but I do find it needs readjusting regularly. It saddens me to have to criticise the hug-a-bub but I have to be honest. It is comfortable but I dont find it practical.

Best sling by far. I had back and neck problems after birth and this was a lifesaver. Used other traditional slings which aggravated my condition. This distributes the weight really effectively and my ds loved it especially when colicky. Would buy this for any new mum. Great for tubes/trains if you live in the city

brilliant, really comfortable to use and my baby loved it too (she's still only 4 months so only an opinion for small babies!). she happily goes to sleep in it and stays asleep for ages, a godsend for the baby that would not be put down until the age of 10 weeks!

I found this much better than the baby bjorn that everyone seems to use!!! I suffer from lower back problems and have found this to distribute the weight easily. Baby needs to be in it quite tightly though especially as litte one gets bigger. The only thing is the hassle to put it on especially if you're going for walk in woods. There seems to be no option but for sling to drop on muddy floor whilst putting it on!! However, the comfort and ease of use outweighs the hassle.
