Really good for a baby from 3-9 months. A bit of a pain to but on but way more comfortable than traditional slings. You can't really take it off and then put it back on when in public so really only good for walks or short trips.

What I really like about this sling is that it's very compact and it folds up into it's own bag. It's also great for newborns as you can tie it to support the baby's head leaving you totally hands free even if you bend down. I also like way the weight is distributed between the shoulders and the hips. However it can be a bit complicated to tie properly and it is a bit expensive for what is essentially a long bit of cloth.

I have a version of the hug a bub. It's wonderful, although my DS doesn't like me sitting down in it as his feet get squished ( I am short though.) It is expensive but you can cheat and go to a haberdashery and buy thick cotton lycra instead. There are a number of website that show you how to put it on...

It's made from such easy to wear/wash fabric, although some people may find a lack of padding on the shoulders a problem with very heavy babies. But how close you feel to each other when wearing it is worth it. Baby stays as snug as a bug!
