takes a bit of getting used to, but once you're up and running you won't look back, you really won't. My baby has lived in hers from being newborn and snuggled in so securely to being 10 months old and going everywhere her older brother goes. I wish I'd had a hug-a-bub when my son was younger, it would have made such a difference. It's incredibly comfortable, really easy to wash and crucially allows you to bend over without ever feeling the baby will fall out, even when it's facing forward.

I love it but it is a bit pricey for what is essentially a long piece of material. Really glad I bought it though.

holds both my twins at the same time in hip-carry positions so when they're both grumbly I can carry them both with out my arms falling off!!

when the babies were really tiny they LOVED being all snug held in close to my body and I was completely hands free to do anything leaning in any direction

quite expensive for the product but very comfortable, distributes weight well and will last as baby grows

It only takes an hour watching the DVD and practicing with a teddybear to master the art. Its essentially just a long piece of material with different ways of wrapping / placing baby. Very comfy - distributes weight well accross back and hips - no pulling on shoulders. Baby loves it - she can look round whatever we are doing, and can fall asleep easily. Also comes in a great range of colours. Only snag is the price!
