We've got the newer high-back Scootababy, had it since DS was around 1 year old and he's now 2: I'd really recommend it. I use it for going to/from nursery (as it can be packed in my rucksack after), for outings using public transport or where he walks but may need to be carried on the return journey. I've also got mei tais (Babyhawk and Maya Tie), but I never got the hang of putting him on my back plus I use a rucksack for carrying nappies/food/drinks etc (which helps balance out the weight!). DH uses it too. Great, practical carrier.

This is absolutely our most used and most loved carrier - no contest, Scootababy is the winner!!

Comparing our favourites was difficult as we've used lots including Beco, Babyhawk, Rockin Baby (ring sling & pouch) and they're all great and have their uses BUT ... Scootababy came out on top because it's just soooo useful day-to-day for nipping to the shops and enjoying cosy cuddles and a natter along the way!

If your hip if your little one's favourite place to sit, then the Scootababy is for you!

I read the reviews on here-which I wish I had done for my first sling, and I opted for the Scootababy.

I gave it's first outing today and I have to say it was a huge improvement on the Prexmax. I need to get the hang of fine tuning the fit but even so it was very comfy.

Quite simply the only baby carrier to use. Have had it since 8 months and son now 20 months. He is very tall 94cms and I commute into London with him every day on the tube and in airports makes shifting about very easy.

Had one day with out and never again! Easy to use, easy to clean, adaptable for both parents, friends grand parents and son loves it.

The Lascal is a completely different carrier to the Scootababy - don't really understand the comparison?! Quick tip about getting on/off - not fiddly at all, just strap on waist belt, place babe on hip, give them a kiss holding with one arm while you pull strap over your heads and across to opposite shoulder with other arm, and adjust front buckle (very quick, easy motion) No need to adjust back buckle adjustment ... hope this helps.

Really, the very best hands-free hip carrier on the market - try it!
