Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

Fabulous sling - really comfortable to wear, my dd loves it & we still use it occasionally even now that she is a toddling 17 month old. It can be tricky getting her on my back without assistance, but we used it loads in the front carrying position which was brilliant, particularly on public transport. And as the other reviewer says, it looks gorgeous. Quite expensive for what it is, but then that could be said about most slings!

My favourite carrier for outdoor trips. It is designed for babies of four months and up, and it is incredibly easy to put on and adjust, and wonderfully comfortable. It also came with very clear instructions illustrated with photographs.

On a more frivolous note, it is gorgeous! At sixty pounds it was well worth every penny.
