I have been using the Organic tog Grobags depending on which season it is and have been very happy. My son is quite tall so he did outgrow the 0-6 month ones early. The 0-6 month ones have a popper to protect the zip the next ones up don't. Although they're not the cheapest option, they washed really well and are good quality.

The lower tog one is nice and thin material and lets the armpits breathe in the summer. I usually put a sleeveless babygrow Green baby do some thin ones underneath to keep his nappy in place.

He associates them with bedtime and they also stop him running around the cot and remind him its time to sleep. He moves about so much covers are a waste of time. But I have a friend who's baby hated them and slept way better out of them so I reckon try one out first to see.

Fab - love them. Not only do they keep junior snuggly - but they also stop his legs from coming through the cot, which happened on a regular basis on the very hot nights!!

Actual grobags are quite pricey...but they do seem to wash better than some other cheaper versions.

Bought a one tog version from Mothercare - why oh why did they make it with only one arm that has a popper - it's not easy to get a sleepy baby's arm through the other arm hole without waking it up! Zip also doesn't allow it to open out flat. Otherwise, nicely made.

Very good, wash and wear the best but be please be careful and check what type of opening it has - our first one for 0-6 had a basic zip all around, which is the best. However, another one we bought has the zip which zips down from neck, which can be tricky with a wriggly child, trying to connect the two parts of the zipper together.
