Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

We also loved the Peke Moe for our youngest. But I was amazed at just how much HE loved it. He would grin and get all excited when we were about to put it on him. So cute. Definitely a super product.

Absolutely awesome for my 'houdini' baby who kept getting out of his swaddle, but didn't sleep well when unwrapped. He transitioned immediately to the Peke Moe sleeping bag (we tucked it in to the foot of his cot to start with to reduce some of the movement of his arms flapping around) He just loved it. (and so did we!!!) We also got the summerweight one in summer and it kept him covered enough not to get cold, but light enough to keep him cool. We have recommended to lots of our friends!
