Well, it's OK. I wouldn't have been happy if I'd bought it new because it's fairly pricey and the novelty value wore off very quickly with my daughter. I thought it'd be great because she had reflux, but she quickly grew disenchanted with it and spent most of her time trying to get out of it. We stopped using it quite quickly - I was always afraid she was going to manage to escape!

Fabulous piece of equipment; it travelled with us everywhere for ages! (We did have 1 unfortunate incident when DS was about 6mo where he launched himself out of it - after that we stopped using it on the kitchen counter (which we shouldn't have been doing anyhow) and didn't leave him unattended.) But generally babies will sit happily in it for ages - regardless of whether they're being fed or not.

My 6 month old was like hoodini he escaped and fell on his head in the first five mins. When he stays in it it works ok but wouldn't buy again.

I have given this product a few tries now. First with DS1 who could escape by arching his back so only useful if I was sitting on the floor with him. Tried again with DTs and bought the tray to go on the front (from ebay). They also can't be contained as claimed but the tray means I can put toys on there to entertain them for longer and also useful for feeding as everything is so easy to clean.

I loved two things about this product - it's really easy to clean and it lasts a very long time. Initially it's fantastic for that tricky time when they can and want to sit up but are in danger of falling back like a felled tree (4-7 months) and smashing their head on the ground at any minute. What surprised me though was how long it was of use. My 22 month old still wants to sit in his Bumbo, which we illegally have on the kitchen surface so he can help me do jobs. And that makes it top value for money in my book. It's a toss up these days whether I give one of these or a sleeping bag to parents of newborns as a gift - I think they're both great ideas.
