Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

I loved this monitor for its clarity and I haven't experienced any interference at all. I was impressed with the movement pad and when my son 1st went into his own room this was my safety net as I felt safe in the knowledge that if the worst happened the monitor would alert me, thank god it wasn't required but its a great crutch! The one thing I would say is disappointing is that the parent unit isn't as easy to make mobile as it would seem. A new model now makes this easy, my sister has purchased this and is happy!
