We thought long and hard about which baby monitor to get as we live in an old farmhouse which has several thick (1.5ft plus) internal stone walls. However we can hear in every room of the house (and some of the outbuildings) as well as about 50ft in the garden (with the base base unit in the house). Reception does get a little crackly at distance but still fantastic and worth it.

Other half also likes the fact you can link it to an MP3 player. Travel bag is a useful plus.

Thought this was great until the speaker intermittently stopped working after 2 months. The lights would still flash if my baby woke but no sound would come out -not useful if doing something or asleep! Thought it was just our 1 so exchanged it, but the same happened on the 1st night we used it! Was told by BT that we were unlucky & theres not a problem with this model but after researching a new monitor i've come across reviews with the same problem!

We have found no downside to this monitor. It has been fantastic so far. I looked at so many reviews before we bought a monitor, but now, 10 months in, we are so glad we went for this one.

This baby monitor is fantastic. Very easy to use and set up. I like that you can connect an mp3 player and play your baby music or just the standard songs that come with the monitor. The temperature sensor is very sensitive but it can be adjusted, and it warns you if the room is too hot. The sound is also very clear, and you can manage the monitor from its remote, so you can play music, switch on a light etc.. Even my partner knows how to use it corretly, and he normally doesn't have a clue with electrical equipment. Great buy, and I got it at a reasonable price from Argos.

V. good. Simple to use. Using the many functions more than I thought. Has worked well at all friends' houses when we've gone to stay.
