We are really pleased with our baby monitor...we are expecting our first baby in September and my husband has been doing loads of research in to all the different monitors...should we get one with a mat sensor for the cot? We originally looked at the Tommee Tipee one with the sensor mat but you had to remember to unplug the sensor every time you take the baby out of the cot and plug it back in again when you put it back in - there is no way I would remember to do this at 3am! We settled on the BT one as a friend had a previous version and said it was really good - love the idea of being able to plug my MP3 player in as well...looking forward to being able to use it when our little person arrives! Comes with a case so good for taking with you when you are staying away too!

Amazon have this on offer at the moment - delivery was really quick too!

I really worried about which monitor to buy - but settled on the BT150 and we've found it to be fabulous in every respect (far better than some of the more expensive ones that we thought of getting and which our friends have already replaced!).

I originally had a Tommee Tippee Suresound Deluxe but hated it and bought this BT 150 model instead and it is fantastic. The sound quality is fantastic and I like that you can turn the sensitivity up and down so we can choose not to hear every little snort and snore our son makes. (he's a noisy sleeper). You can turn the volume up and down on the parent unit, and it vibrates so you can 'feel' if your child is yelling while you're mowing the lawn with it in your pocket. The reception is fantastic; the signal has never dropped out even in our 3 storey thick-walled Victorian house, and it still gets the signal 70 metres down the end of the garden in our brick summerhouse. I like the temperature reading which you can see from the parent unit, I like the 5 different lullabies which you can turn on and off by remote. And the batteries last for ages and recharge easily by putting the unit back on the parent stand. I definitely recommend this monitor - yes it's a little more pricey than many on the market, but it's well worth it.

This is the bees knees! It has only just arrived & we love it. This DECT monitor with Hi-Def sound really does let you hear a pin drop. The sound is crystal clear, you can set the sound sensitivity levels, talk back to baby, has multiple lullabies & lets you record your own. The parent unit acts as a remote control so you can turn lullabies & night light on or off without going into baby's room. Plus it has a handy torch on it to help you when stumbling around for night feeds!

Oh, and if you want to save money buy it from Amazon where it is £15 cheaper than BT.com and qualifies for free delivery!
