David Cameron on whether The Thick of It accurately represents the Conservative publicity machine: "I love The Thick of It. V funny... but only true about the other lot (not)."

Recipe of the week

Used ours for 3 years now and been very happy with it. Picks up the smallest sounds. The battery doesn't last as long anymore but been well worth the money.

Very clear - no problems & sensitivity good, good price, long lead on babys part which is useful as is the travel bag that comes with it. No need for any extras like lullabies as she has several toys etc that do that. Battery life could be a little longer but would by this again...

great. really clear sound. when she was newborn we could hear her breathing if we turned up the sensitivity. they don't make the one in this picture anymore (green rounded one), it's now more rectangular and purple, and it has 3 tunes on it. compared to friends' analogue ones, this is infinitely better, no interference, easy to use and crystal clear sound. note: don't drop it in the washing up bowl. it won't work again. xx

a great moniotr. the signal is very clear and it is very sensitive. The volume control is good as well, as you can have it on low or silent if required.

We like the two-way speak function, and my older DS and i often have conversations on it rather than shouting up and down stairs to each other.

we don't use the nightlight function but it is handy to have I suppose.
