We bought this monitor to use with our first baby who is now a strapping 3 year old! We found it to be very reliable. good battery life, long range (perfect for those long summer evenings in the garden with a glass of wine) good features. our first child especially loved the lullabies. We are noe onto child no 2 and the monitor is still working perfectly. Would definately recommend. Only downside is the price.

Having had 4 different types of monitor I can safely say this was by far and away the best one I bought.

The sound is crystal clear... no buzzing, feedback, or messing around 'changing channels' like I experienced with other monitors.

I personally would not want a sensor or video monitor because they would cause me to be highly stressed and this is the top of the range 'listening' monitor and perfect for my needs.

The remote ability to play songs on the childs end made a HUGE difference in being able to get my child to sleep when she had problems too as it meant I could do it without going back into the bedroom! You can also put the nightlight on and off remotely too:-)

The size and mobility of the parent unit is GREAT since you're running on a proper battery and not AA or AAA, which I found to be a problem in other monitors I used.

The temperature gauge tends to be on the hot side imho, and this is the only downside.

I really like this monitor. It is tough enough to handle being used as a walkie talkie (and dropped) by a 4 year-old (unlike the Phillips digital monitor) and the music and two way intercom are really useful

Great monitor, bought it 2 and a half years ago for our first and am now using it for our second. Very clear, easy to see and read, like temperature display. Neither baby has really liked the songs playing but that's probably just them! All in all one of our bext baby purchases...
