Quote of the week

David Cameron on whether The Thick of It accurately represents the Conservative publicity machine: "I love The Thick of It. V funny... but only true about the other lot (not)."

Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

A popular choice, users liked the "really clear digital signal with no interference" and found it "easy to use". "We love the remote control settings on the parent unit that allow you to adjust the baby unit without having to set foot in the room". Parents also liked "the temperature monitor for peace of mind" and the fact that you can "turn the volume off so you don't hear every grunt, but set it to beep loudly if crying reaches a certain level". Overall: "Excellent: the product looks great and does what it says on the box".
