MethodHeat oven to 160C. Need shallow baking dish that will fit plums halved in one layer.Halve plums, remove stones and lie in dish, cut side down. Put all other ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil. Pour over plums, cover dish tightly with foil (or lid if it has one) & bake for one hour or till plums tender.
