Methodpre heat oven to 180 gas mark 4put enough olive oil (or rapeseed) to come up to at least 1cm in a deep saucepan, add your finely chopped onion, garlic and pepper (you can use as much garlic as you like, I use a good tablespoon of powdered garlic, or two gloves chopped)and simmer on a low heat until your peppers are soft (at least 15 mins) add the gnocchi, oregano salt and pepper and give a good stir so all the gnocchi is covered in oily garlicly oregano sauce fry for a couple of mins, you want the gnocchi to be covered in garlic and oregano, add the chopped toms add a little salt and pepper to taste and leave, stir now and then to stop sticking, for about 10 mins, the gnocchi is done when you can put the point of a knife though easily tip into an oven proof tray and sprinkle with the chedder, leave for about 5 mins in the oven, enjoy! | |||||||||||||||||||||
