Ingredients

• 1 kg of strawberries
• 400g icing sugar
• Juice of 1 lemon

Handy Hint

Another great idea is to fill ice lolly moulds with the sorbet for the kids which is a much healthier option.

Method

• Rinse the strawberries and remove their stems.
• Mix to a pulp in a liquidiser or mash them if you don't have one handy.
• Add the sugar and the lemon juice.
• Place in a container and put in freezer and leave for a couple of hours.

This is a quick and easy recipe for a great strawberry sorbet. You can of course use raspberries instead. Kids will love it as well as the 'big kids'. Great for families and entertaining.
