Ingredients110g/4oz butter110g/4oz demerara sugar 3 tbsp golden syrup 220g/8oz rolled/porridge oats 1 apple (peeled, cored and chopped) Pinch of cinnamon |

Method1. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together in a saucepan.2. Add the oats, apple and cinnamon and mix well. 3. Put into a 20cm x 20cm tin, flatten down evenly and bake at 180C for 20 minutes. 4. Mark out slices while still warm, and remove from tin when cooled. | |||||||||||||||||||||
