Ingredients

500g tagliatelle
2 large courgettes (grated)
1/2 a lemon (zested and juiced)
100g cheddar cheese (grated)
300ml tub of half-fat crème fraiche
200g ham (torn up)

Handy Hint

You could add a small amount of the cooking water from the tagliatelle if the sauce seems a bit dry. This turns out slightly differently each time I make it.

Method

1. Cook the tagliatelle in boiling, salted water
2. Fry the ham in a bit of oil. When it starts to turn brown add the grated courgette
3. When the courgette has wilted a bit add the lemon juice and zest
4. Add the grated cheese and creme fraiche
5. Season to taste
6. Add to the cooked, drained tagliatelle
7. Mix well and serve

Have fun experimenting with this. My kids aged from 2 to 10 all love it.
