Ingredients50g custard powder300ml milk 350g tin of pineapple pieces 50g butter 2 eggs, separated 4 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp water |

Method1. Mix custard powder with part of the milk until smooth. Pour into a saucepan the with the remainder of the milk and pineapple juice. Stir over a low heat until thickened.2. Add butter and egg yolks. Continue stirring until smooth and well blended. 3. Pour over pineapple in an ovenproof dish. 4. Beat egg whites with 2 tablespoons water until stiff. Beat in 4 tablespoons sugar. 5. Pile over mixture in dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. | |||||||||||||||||||||
