Ingredients

340g (12oz) margarine
340g (12oz) Fairtrade sugar
510g (18oz) Tate & Lyle Golden Syrup
225g (8oz) self-raising flour
225g (8oz) rolled oats
225g (8oz) breadcrumbs or cake crumbs
55g (2oz) sultanas

Handy Hint

I always double the recipe they go fast.

Method

1. Melt margarine, sugar and syrup together in a saucepan. Do not boil.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
3. Put in teaspoonfuls on baking parchment or a good non-stick sheet.
4. Bake for 10-15 mins at 150C.

You can use up stale cake crumbs and stale bread. So it is super ecconomical
