Ingredients

3 x 375g packets of white chocolate melts (or cooking chocolate)
2 x 395g tins sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup icing sugar approx
1 cup chopped dried cranberries (can also be called Craisins)
(I also put in sultanas and would do some sort of nut if I knew the person did not have a nut allergy)

Handy Hint

Makes a nice edible gift for Christmas.

Method

1. Melt the white chocolate and condensed milk in a double boiler (I use a saucepan inside another that has boiling water in it) over a low heat.
2. When melted and thick, remove from the heat, add the icing sugar and the fruit/nuts.
3. Pour into a shallow tray that you have lined with baking paper.
4. Chill in the fridge until set (I leave mine overnight).
5. Cut into fingers/squares and serve.

I did this in half quantities alongside some milk chocolate fudge and Delia truffles for Christmas gifts. As only half mix I used the bottom of a loaf tin and then cut into chunks the following day. Looks lovely (even impressive), tastes great but hard to get hold of non-nestle white chocolate. I wouldn't do it with pre-school children but easy with older children. I echo the need to sieve the icing sugar so mix is smooth. Not the cheapest of recipe but if dressed/bagged well you can just give a few pieces each as presents and much cheaper than alternative presents. Thanks for the recipe OP. Wish I could post a picture. Very proud of end result!

made this for presents (and saved some fo us) really easy to make, and rather yum. 2 bars of chocolate and 1 tube of squeezy condensed milk made around 10 gift bags with average 12 pieces in)

Definitely sieve the icing sugar!! For some reason I didn't and ended up with speckly fudge. I re-named it 'snowy fudge'. still tastes great though!

This is very similar to Nigella's dark chocolate pistachio fudge and could probably be frozen if you have loads to do, I will be using half white fudge and half dark for gifts. Thanks OP!
