Ingredients8oz butter (melted)
3/4 cup caster sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
1 tsp salt
12oz chocolate chips
Handy HintI like to double the vanilla and substitute Crisco for half of the butter. My mom adds pecans/walnuts to hers. I also tend to double the recipe and freeze half the dough to pull out when unexpected company drop in - always a big hit!
