Ingredients

Organic meatballs x 2 packets (12 meatballs in total) (uncooked and plain)
Plain flour
Olive oil
two tins chopped tomatoes
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 tsp dried Italian herbs

Potatoes, butter and milk for mashing

Method

Roll the meat balls in flour.

Heat the olive oil in a large pan and fry off the meat balls until browned.

Remove from the pan.

Add a little more oil and then fry off the onions and garlic, until soft.

Return the meatballs to the pan with the tinned tomatoes and herbs.

Simmer for 20-30 mins until well cooked.

In the meantime make your mash (no explanations needed!).

Serve and enjoy!

I love this as everyone in my family will eat it. You can quite easily make variations to it if you want - sometimes I split the sauce half way through and add peppers and spices to the tomato mixture to the 'adult' version to make a spicy meatball dish. Alternatively you can hide vegetables in the sauce to ensure that your little ones are getting their 5 a day. It is also v quick to make - much easier than making the meatballs from scratch!
