Ingredients

2 Salmon/tuna/swordfish steaks
1 large onion
1 lemon
3-4 tbs soy sauce
Fresh ginger (optional)

Handy Hint

The onions should go all brown and caramelised, so if the fish steak is thin it might be worth cooking the onion a bit before you add the fish.

Method

Finely slice the onion.

Squeeze the lemon.

Finely slice the ginger if you're using it.

Arrange the onion and ginger on top of the fish steaks, and pour the lemon and soy sauce over it all.

Leave in the fridge for 2/3 hours, turn it over if you remember.

Bung the lot in a heavy frying pan and cook for 10 minutes or so (turn the fish over halfway through), depending on the thickness of the fish steak and how well you like to cook it.
