Ingredients55g/8oz bulgar wheat
425ml/½ pint boiling water
1/2 tin sweetcorn
chunk of cucumber diced
2 large tomatoes (seeds removed) remaining flesh, diced
2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise to taste
1 large spring onion chopped
1 large carrot chopped
Cooked bacon bits
MethodPlace the bulgar wheat in a large bowl and pour over the boiling water. Cover the bowl with a plate and leave to steam for at least 5 minutes until it's all absorbed and then fluff with a fork.
Leave to cool and then add the other chopped ingredients and mix in mayonnaise. Bung it in the fridge.
Chill before serving.
