Glosswitch: When the media describe the images of Charles Saatchi grasping his wife, Nigella Lawson, by the throat as a 'row', a 'dispute' or even, in Saatchi's own words, a 'playful tiff', they distort their meaning. This isn't about a couple having a fight - it's about power, manipulation and the way in which disrespect for women's bodies and voices is endemic.
